Benjamin Aleuys Unterluggauer is a multifaceted designer based in Hamburg, Germany and founder of MOKIT.
With a sense for the contemporary and a strength in creative product design ideation, his work is characterized by technical rationality and human irrationality - accepting it as a constant, his method oscillates between profound examination of themes and spontaneous improvisation. In his practice he does not always create isolated objects, rather the surrounding process is also of significant consideration. The result is a mixture of ready-made aesthetics, metabolistic modularity and experimental digitality. His ultimate ambition lies in creating meaningful projects, while not shying away from taxing engineering challenges, or compromising potential feasibility.
