The Windmills Project explores a thought-provoking question: What if people had a democratic say in how the windmills scattered throughout our landscapes look? By giving individuals a creative voice, the project imagines how public input might shape the visual identity of these structures—and perhaps even foster greater acceptance, ownership, and appreciation.
