Muthesius Parallax

,

2018

An exhibition about contemporary design education. Created by students of the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design together with professors Matylda Krzykowski and Annika Frye.

What would be open education? Can education be transferred into a walk-in installation? What will design education look like in the future?

Muthesius Parallax shows processes, methods, tools and attitudes instead of finished products. The spatial interface is an approach to mediating design education. This form of approach to process-based design aims to convey to visitors a conscious—today one would say contemporary—understanding of design.
